Available now!!

I am really quite excited about this. It was over 2 years ago when God birthed the vision of Anthem of Hope. Tonight, we release the first major product aimed at bringing hope and courage to anyone dealing with chronic or terminal illness.

Over these months, we have scoured the Bible for the most appropriate scriptures captured in the most accurate and understandable translations. Then we auditioned over 100 professional voice artists - selecting 3 voices that we fell in love with. A substantial effort put into creating background music by our man Jesiah, and countless hours with a grammy award winning mixing engineer pulling the final mix together - and here we are!

I sincerely hope that you download these three tracks and give them to as many people as you can. There are so many around that need a bit of the hope and comfort God has to offer. Medicine fails us, but God does not.

In the next few months it will be available in a gift set with a CD and a nice journal. I could not wait though, so here it is!

Update: first AOH release

We are really excited as we approach the completion of the Encouragement Disc. Since we have been getting inquiries from many of you on when it will actually be available, here is a brief status update.

Status:
- We collectively picked the scripture passages we felt best and subsequently selected the translations for each based on what was most understandable and accurate. The script of all the verses was peer reviewed for accuracy.
- We auditioned over 100 voice artists from around the world and selected the 3 voices we felt complimented each other and were undoubtedly soothing and comforting without lacking dynamics or variety.
- All the voice tracks have been completed and cleaned up in the studio. We are waiting on the teams completion of the background music.
- A journal, intended to be a companion to the CD, was written and peer reviewed. This will be released with the CD. We are in process of completing the layout and design for the journal.

Sorry in advance for the incorrect date (summer 2009) posted here on the website. Things always take longer than you hope! Coming soon.

Need Your Help

Things are really exciting in the AoH camp. We are approaching the home stretch of the Encouragement Disc and its associated journal (yes, we are releasing a journal with it...I'll tell you about it soon).

Part of the artwork for the actual CD cover will require a nice looking white candle. Now, I haven't been thrilled with anything I have found locally in stores, so I'm putting this out here as a way that you can help. If you have a white candle that you think is particularly beautiful, please snap a quick picture of it and send it to me. If you want to picture message my phone from your phone just email me and I'll give you the number (that way you don't need to use a camera and upload the picture to email).

The candle has to be white. it can be somewhat burnt or not used at all. And you have to be willing to give us the candle (I can't promise you will get it back in the same shape).

That's it for now. Email me at darren@anthemofhope.com if you have any ideas for us.

Relay for Life

AoH had the priviledge of sponsoring the Red Bank Regional chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes for this great event. Relay for Life is a national event that raises money and awareness for the American Cancer Society. We were thrilled to be a part of it. AoH in discussion with David S Zocchi Brain Tumor Center

April 16, 2009

We are thrilled to announce that we have been in discussions with the David S Zocchi Brain Tumor Center. The center is based out of Monmouth Medical Center (Long Branch, NJ) but is poised to have regional and national impact as it serves as a model for subsequent centers in other hospitals. We had discussions with Judy Zocchi and it looks like Anthem of Hope may be the Spiritual Wellness component of the medical center (named after her late husband, who died in 2005). We are excited about this opportunity and think it represents a huge potential market. (and by market, we are talking about potential to positively impact people!) More info in the coming, months.

A few things to start with

April 1, 2009

Chances are that you are a first-time visitor. We want you to get the most out of this website, so please check out the following six things which will be at least informational, and at most the highlight of your day. Either way, you have nothing to lose. We promise.

1. Freebies

This month in honor of our launch, we are releasing an exclusive song for download by the Chris Colletti Band called "The Reason." Because CCB led worship at Misty LeBlanc's unique and beautiful memorial service, these guys are close to our hearts. This song perfectly portrays the heart and message of our movement. It has been recorded as an AoH exclusive, and you can get it for free right here. >> Freebies

2. Facebook & Twitter

We can friend and tweet with the best of them. Follow us if you're signed up (and sign up to follow us if you're not)!

3. Monthly Sponsorship

We exist because people like you are willing to support us. The resources that we are developing will positively impact an enormous amount of people in the years to come. Please consider sponsoring us through a monthly giving plan. >> Donate

4. Text Messages & Email

We hate spam. We will never sell or distribute your email or phone number, anywhere to anyone. We do, however, firmly believe in sending out notifications when major developments happen (most likely once or twice a month). If you'd like to be in the AoH loop, please sign up HERE.

5. News

In the top right corner of the home page you will find our news feed where all AoH updates will be posted. You'll want to check this often. To simplify things, subscribe to our RSS feed or add us to your reader. (If you don't know what all of those terms are, hang tight; we'll be posting a blog entry explaining all of it soon.)

Welcome!

April 1, 2009

We are really excited about what's going on in the world of Anthem of Hope. We whole-heartedly believe that we are filling a significant gap in people's lives, and therefore want to spread the word as far and as quickly as possible. Won't you join us in our mission? You can get more information and ideas here. >> Share the Anthem.

Since we're so new, here are answers to a few questions you might be asking:

* What is Anthem of Hope?

Anthem of Hope is a movement to bring hope and courage to those who are affected by illness. We raise awareness about the needs of people who are sick, and we create resources to address their spiritual and emotional needs.

* Where did it come from?

Through Misty LeBlanc's battle with brain cancer, it became quite clear that while the medicines used to meet the physical needs of people with serious illness are getting better every year, there is little effort being put into the tools needed to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of that audience.

* Why are you launching this website before the resources are completed?

Anthem of Hope's flagship product is an integrated set of tools/resources which are currently under development, and won't be totally ready for many months. In the meantime, we are launching anthemofhope.com to get the word out and begin fundraising. Additionally, while our full suite of resources aren't available yet, the Encouragement Disc (disc 1 of the 4-disc set) will be available as a download early this summer.

Thanks for stopping by!
